Claims
A claim is one 16×16 chunk. Only you and people you trust can build there. Stand where you want the house and type /claim.
The two-chunk gap
You cannot claim right next to a stranger. Keep two empty chunks between you. Your own claims can touch.
How many chunks
Playtime ranks set the base limit. Voting all four sites in one day adds +1 chunk on top — it stays. Check with /claimbalance.
| Rank | Playtime | Claim chunks |
|---|---|---|
| New | — | 4 |
| Regular | 16 hours | 8 |
| Elder | 32 hours | 12 |
| Legend | 48 hours | 16 |
A few gifted ranks have higher caps. /ranks shows yours.
Friends
/trust <name> on that chunk lets them build and use things there. /untrust takes it back. Trust is per chunk, not the whole base.
Next door
/neighbour <name> is spacing only — they can claim in your two-chunk buffer. It does not let them build on your land.
/claim transfer <name> hands the chunk over. They must accept and have a free slot. After that you two can sit next to each other on that plot.
What a claim stops
Strangers cannot break, place, or use your stuff. Explosions, fire, pistons and liquid from outside are blocked at the edge. Crops and animals in the claim stay yours.
The End cannot be claimed. The Wither still breaks blocks inside claims — summon it in the open.
Leaving
/unclaim drops the chunk you are standing in. Do not unclaim a shop you still want.
